I also have a broad range of contacts, copywriters, developers, photographers and animators.

Start by reviewing their portfolio to ensure their style aligns with your vision. Consider their experience in your industry and read client testimonials. It's also essential to have a conversation to discuss your project and assess their communication skills and understanding of your needs.

The design process typically includes the following stages:

  • Initial Consultation: Discuss project goals, timeline, and budget.

  • Research & Ideation: The designer conducts research and brainstorms ideas.

  • Concept Development: Initial concepts are presented for feedback.

  • Revisions: Based on your input, the designer makes adjustments.

Timelines can vary significantly based on the project's complexity and the designer's current workload. Simple projects may take a week or two, while more extensive branding initiatives could take several weeks or months. Always discuss timelines upfront and allow for some flexibility for revisions.

5. What should I expect to pay for graphic design services?
Costs vary based on factors like the designer’s experience, project complexity, and scope of work. Some designers charge hourly rates, while others offer flat fees. On average, expect to pay anywhere from £50 to £75 per hour, I prefer to charge a day rate £350, most projects can be tackled in a couple of days depending on complexity. Half a day to show mood boards £200 is really valuable stepping off point to check I’m the right designer for you.

6. How do I prepare for my first meeting with a graphic designer?
Come prepared with a clear idea of your goals, your target audience, and any inspiration you have (such as colors, styles, or other designs you like). Be ready to discuss your budget and timeline as well.

7. What if I don’t like the initial designs?
Feedback is a crucial part of the design process. If you don’t like the initial designs, communicate specific elements you want to change and why. A good designer will appreciate your input and work with you to refine the design until it meets your expectations.

8. Will I own the rights to the final designs?
Ownership rights can vary based on your agreement with the designer. Typically, clients receive full rights to the designs once paid in full. Ensure you discuss this upfront to avoid misunderstandings later. You will own all artwork from me and I can supply packaged artwork on request.

9. Can I request revisions after the final design is delivered?
Many designers include a set number of revisions in their contract. If you need additional changes after the final delivery, be prepared to discuss potential costs for further revisions. Ideally 3 rounds or amends, but we will only discuss additional charges at round 5.
